The Council operates and caretakes several recreational areas and amenities which are available for use by town residents. There are tennis courts at Laundry Lane Recreation Ground and at Dussindale Park recreation area. The bowls club at Laundry Lane is open during the summer months and welcomes new members and is also available for use by non members; call in at the club for more information.
